Foodie Inspiration? Look no further...

As much as we love lingerie, it's probably fair to say that we love good food just as much...

As much as we love lingerie, it's probably fair to say we love good food here at Bluebella HQ (almost) just as much. We love new, exciting and healthy bites to eat but also, of course, will never say no to a little treat and we're always on the look out for ways to jazz up our kitchen skills.

And consequently, we've found there's no better way to discover the latest recipes and food trends than on Instagram. Whilst you obviously can't beat a good old stack of recipe books, more and more digital 'Food Fairies' are popping up and answering all our prayers - providing quick, fun, colourful and healthy ways to look like a complete pro in the kitchen. Here's a selection of our favourites...

Hemsley  & Hemsley

Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley are an inspiring cooking sister duo. Not only do they provide the social media world with tips, tricks and recipes to create healthy, nutrient-dense recipes but they also provide recipes all free from gluten, grains and refined sugars. The sisters are proud contributors to Vogue and The Guardian and also consult for celebrities such as Vivienne Westwood. Ideal if you either want to be more consciously healthy or need a gluten-free diet; either way - you won't lose the fun in food.

Deliciously Ella

A truly inspirational foodie, Ella Woodward first started her food blog back in 2011, after becoming ill with a rare illness. Conventional medicine wasn't working and so Ella decided to turn a negative into a positive and hunt out healthy remedies to try combat her illness. She overhauled her diet by teaching herself cooking and thanks to a healthy eating programme, she turned her life around. Now a fully-fledged foodie, Ella prides herself on colourful and original easy-to-make recipes that have all the health benefits and all of the flavour. Oh, and she's a best-selling author and Telegraph columnist, so she certainly knows her stuff!

Meringue Girls

Alex Hoffler and Stacey O'Gorman had a dream to have their own food company after they had both worked in the industry previously. Having met in a Hackney kitchen, the rest was history. Knowing they needed to find their niche (and stay away from cupcakes!), they settled upon meringues, creating unique pieces of food-art bursting full of colour, flavour and above all else, fun. Now with a huge Instagram following, the girls provide followers with mouth-wateringly good visuals of just how creative you can get in the kitchen if a sweet tooth is your thing. Stocked in Harrods, Selfridges, the girls also write cookbooks and teach masterclasses - phew!

Rosie Foodie

If you're after a foodie expert that cooks and bakes all the family favourites, then look no further than Rosie Birkett. Rosie has 26k Instagram followers who she supplies tons of easy-to-follow ideas for dinner time, plus an insight into her every day life and her very cute dogs. Rosie has also written a cookbook and writes for the likes of Grazia, Sunday Times and the Independent. We love the gorgeous summer puds she's been knocking out recently and Rosie just proves you can happily have a balance of naughty and nice.

Rachel Khoo

35-year-old Rachel Khoo is a well-known foodie with an elegant touch of Parisian culture about her. At first, she didn't pursue a career in food but her love for patisserie led her to the French capital where she gained a degree in Pastry. She put her skills to good use and soon became known as the go-to expert around the world. Her 90k Instagram followers are kept up to date with her baking creations but also her tantalising, vibrant and healthy main courses that are inspired by her travels around the world. If you want lots of different cultures and inspiration in one, this is definitely the girl for you.
